Trishuli River Rafting
The name of this river is flowing from a famous pilgrim, high in the Himalaya at Gosainkund the god Shiva drove his trident into the rocky mountain to create three springs –the source of the river and hence its name Trishuli.The river has fixed some truly impressive gorges in its lower part as it cut its way through the 2000 meter high Mahavarat Range.
For many people Trishuli River Rafting represents the ideal rafting trip just the right length of time, exciting rapid, but not too difficult, easily reachable from Kathmandu. Certainly if you’re looking for more of a ‘wilderness’ experience unsullied beaches, no other rafting groups, and un-spoilt scenery then you should consider one of the other river. The rapid on Trisuli are mainly big, bouncy and relatively safe; ‘flips’ (where the raft capsizes) or other accidents are rare in normal water condition, and if you wish, it is possible to walk around the few difficult rapid. Since the highway follows the river you can easily come back to Kathmandu in few hours after Trishuli River Raftingcompletion of the trip.

| 01. | It takes about 3-4 hrs to the raft put-in point at Charaundi by driving from Kathmandu. Under the guidance of a river guide, you venture into a river trip up to Kurintar for about 4 hrs with a short lunch break. Eventually, you camp near the river bank at a wonderful location. |
| 02. | On this day, you start again your rafting trip along Trishuli River till you arrive at Similar.you make camping arrangement for night stay. |
| 03. | You continue your last day´s river trip. After having rafted for about 3-4 hrs, you reach the ending point of the trip. At this point, you have a choice to either return to Kathmandu, Royal Chitwan National park or Pokhara. |

I’ve just retuned to Kathmandu competing the Annapurna circuit trekking organized by Outshine Adventures. They provide me with an excellent guide Pralhad and porter Hari. They took care of me for over 15 days. First going at the adjective pace and then selecting very good guest house all the way until Pokhara.
